I just received the sad news this morning that Mickey lost his fight with lymphoma on Sunday July 19th. His cancer returned and his poor little body couldn’t fight it anymore. He was put to sleep at home, surrounded by all of his family, favorite toys and blankets.
Mickey fought a truly courageous battle and brought so much comfort and joy to his mom and dad every second he was on this earth. I am so sorry for your loss - Mickey was truly the best. And I feel so blessed to have met him.

To Mickey’s parents,
I am such a huge cat lover that it truly tugs at my heart when someone loses a pet, especially a kitty. He truly looks happy and well loved in the above pictures and just know that he is free, healthy, and running around at the Rainbow Bridge now.

Oh! I have been nursing along my own 18 year old kitty for some time now, so I know what a huge loss this must be. Mickey is such a beautiful beautiful boy, and so lucky to have been so cherished. Peace to you and much sympathy for your loss.

My hearts go out to Mikey’s mom and dad … we lost our dear cat Freddy to Lymphoma on 6/23/09. It was heart-breaking. Poor old boy is no longer suffering now though, and I expect is frolicking somewhere happliy with Mikey.

Thank you everyone for the all the kind words. Mickey would have certainly appreciated them since he was such a loving and gentle soul. He brought us nothing but great joy for the few years he was with us. His mom and I thank you in our time of sadness.
