Henry Houdini of Hollywood
April 14th, 2008Meet Henry Houdini of Hollywood, a handsome 14 year old terrier (aptly named by his owners because of the time he performed an amazing escape act and went missing for 2 heart wrenching days!).
Henry was recently diagnosed with nasal cancer and is undergoing his third week of chemo, beginning today. Here’s a little sneak peek for his amazing owners Amanda and Thom. Hope you like them, and trust me — there are SO MANY MORE GREAT ONES TO COME! : )
On a different note, I shot FOUR DOG SESSIONS this weekend. Two each day. And I will never do that again. I must have been on crack when I thought that would be a good idea. Dog photo sessions are extremely physical — it’s basically like a 2 hour aerobic session. By the end of it, I’m hot, sweaty, and dirty. And by the next morning actually have sore muscles! Seriously. Either I just do crazy poses to get the shots I want, or I’m really out of shape. Actually, it’s probably the latter, heh!
In. Pain. Hurt. So. Bad. Must. Find. Coffee.

Oh Grace! That is so my boy! You have no idea what it means to me to look at those photos and see his little personality shine through.
Thanks so much, it was a pleasure yesterday!
Best,
Amanda

Love these shots. Sending healing wishes to Henry. My dog had a cancer scare last year and is doing great now. Hope the same for this little guy.
